Beams and Mantels
- House beams , mantel piece timbers etc
- Kiln dried up to approx 100mm thick may be available - see products below.
- Larger sections supplied green or part seasoned - up to 9m long by 600mm x 600 or 700 x approx 200
- Some pre-sawn stock usually available part seasoned or else sawn to order and will be ‘green’ ie wet. It will shrink and splits will appear when put into a central heated house, perhaps for a period of years in the case of a railway sleeper sized section or bigger and you will need to re-seal around the edges when it has finally stopped moving.
- Lead time if it has to be milled to order is usually about 2-4 weeks.
