Board Joining
We stock some boards up to 600mm wide. Should they not be available or you require wider sections Lanarkshire Hardwoods can offer a board joining service to create any width you like. This is a premium service carried out to very high standards so that you end up with an almost imperceptible join that will also be extremely strong. The more narrower boards used to make up the width, the less it will warp.
- You pick the boards you would like used.
- Edges will be first planed by machine and then hand dressed by Patrick to exactly 90 degrees, dead straight and perfect along the whole length.
- The edges are biscuit jointed, glued and securely clamped.

Cost £50 per linear metre of first join, £25 /lin m for a second join on the same worktop/unit.
Example costs ( on top of price of timber)
To join 2 x 300mm wide boards that are each 1 metre long and 40mm thick, £50 inc vat
To join 3 x 200mm wide boards that are each 2 metres long and 30mm thick, £150 inc vat
